Where does the school trip in Rostock take place and how do we get there?
The school trip takes place at Final Escape, Warnowufer 60, 18057 Rostock, right by the city harbour. Classes can reach us quickly by tram from all parts of the city, and the city centre is only a few minutes’ walk away. For class trips to the Baltic Sea, the escape room can easily be combined with St. Mary’s Church, the city harbour or a trip to Warnemünde.
From what age is a school trip to the escape room suitable?
We recommend the school trip to Final Escape from age 10, i.e. roughly from Year 5. Up to age 12, an adult must be in the room with the group. Together with you, we choose rooms that suit your class’s age and make-up.
How many students can take part in the school trip?
Up to 30 students can play at the same time in our five escape rooms, split into teams of up to six people. With two consecutive rounds, up to 60 students are possible—so two classes together as well.
How much does a school trip at Final Escape Rostock cost?
A school trip costs €19 per student and teacher. That’s significantly cheaper than the regular ticket price and can easily be financed from the class fund.
When can school classes book a school trip?
School trips are possible with us Monday to Friday until 1 PM. That makes it easy to fit the visit into a school morning or a project day.
How long does the school trip take?
With check-in 15 minutes before the game starts, briefing, 60 minutes of play time and a shared wrap-up, you should allow around 90 minutes. With two rounds, the school trip takes about 150 minutes. We’ll coordinate the exact schedule with you in advance.
Who supervises the students during the school trip?
The duty of supervision lies with the accompanying teachers for the entire stay. In the escape room, our Game Masters monitor each team via video and give hints if needed. Teachers can join in themselves or supervise the waiting groups in our lounge.
What do students learn on a school trip in the escape room?
In the escape room, you only move forward together. Students look for clues, connect information and agree on solutions under time pressure. This strengthens teamwork, concentration and class cohesion—and everyone can contribute to success.
Can the school trip take place in English?
Yes, all briefings and escape rooms in Rostock are also available in English. This is ideal for international classes, bilingual schools or as a playful addition to English lessons. Please specify your preferred language in your enquiry.
Is the school trip accessible for all students?
Our escape rooms in Rostock are not wheelchair accessible, and in some rooms you’ll need to climb or crawl. If students with physical limitations are taking part, please talk to us in advance. We’ll plan the room allocation so everyone can join in.
