Where does the school trip in Kiel take place, and how do we get there?
The school trip takes place at Final Escape at Küterstraße 14, 24103 Kiel, right by the Alter Markt. From the main station, it’s about a 10-minute walk to us, and several bus lines stop very close by. For class trips to Kiel, the escape room pairs well with a walk along the Kiellinie or a visit to the state parliament.
From what age is a school trip to an escape room suitable?
We recommend the school trip to Final Escape from age 10, i.e. roughly from Year 5. Up to age 12, an adult must be in the room with the group. Some of our Kiel rooms have a spooky atmosphere, so we’ll help you choose rooms that suit your class’s age.
How many students can take part in the school trip?
Kiel is our largest location: up to 60 students can play at the same time in nine escape rooms, usually in teams of up to six people. In Curse of the Pharaoh, up to twelve students can even puzzle together. With two sessions, up to 120 students are possible—ideal for a whole year group.

A school trip costs €19 per student and teacher. That puts the price well below the regular ticket price and makes it easy to plan via the class fund.
When can school classes book a school trip?
We offer school trips Monday to Friday up to 1 PM. That means the visit fits into a regular school morning or a project day.
How long does the school trip take?
With check-in 15 minutes before the game starts, briefing, 60 minutes of play time, and a shared wrap-up, you should allow around 90 minutes. With two sessions, the school trip takes about 150 minutes. We’ll coordinate the exact schedule with you in advance.
Who supervises the students during the school trip?
Supervision duty remains with the accompanying teachers for the entire visit. Our Game Masters watch each team via video and give hints if you get stuck. Teachers can join in or look after the waiting groups in our lounge.
What do students learn on a school trip in the escape room?
In the escape room, every team needs all minds. Students have to share information, connect puzzles logically, and make decisions together under time pressure. That strengthens communication, creativity, and class spirit—and many teachers see their class from a whole new side.
Can the school trip take place in English?
Yes, all briefings and escape rooms in Kiel are also available in English. That’s ideal for international classes, bilingual schools, or as a lively addition to English lessons. Please specify your preferred language in your enquiry.
Is the school trip accessible for all students?
