Still Have Questions?
Where can we celebrate our birthday at the escape room in Kiel?
Your birthday party takes place at Final Escape at Küterstraße 14, 24103 Kiel, right at the Alter Markt in the city center. It’s about a ten-minute walk from the main train station. Around Alter Markt and Holstenstraße, you’ll find numerous cafés and restaurants where you can keep the celebration going before or after the game.
How many guests can come to the birthday party?
In most rooms, up to six guests play together. Online, you can book up to three rooms at the same time, letting you celebrate with around 18 people. For large birthday groups, Curse of the Pharaoh is a great choice, with 6 to 12 people solving puzzles together in one room. For even bigger groups, just send us a request.
From what age is a birthday party at Final Escape suitable?
We recommend our escape rooms in Kiel for ages 10 and up, accompanied by parents. The Magic School can even be played by children from age 6 with adult supervision, while The Nightmare is more suited to teens and adults. If you’re planning a children’s birthday party, we’re happy to advise you in advance.
Can we hide a birthday present in the escape room?
By arrangement, we can work in a small surprise for the birthday child. Just get in touch with our Kiel team before booking and tell us your idea, so we can check whether it fits into the chosen room.
Which escape room is suitable for a birthday party?
In Kiel, you have the biggest selection with nine adventures: save the city as superheroes, investigate alongside Sherlock Holmes, or attempt the breakout in Prison Break Revolutions. For a large group of guests, Curse of the Pharaoh is perfect, with room for up to twelve people. With multiple rooms, each group of guests plays its own scenario, giving everyone plenty to talk about afterward.
Do the guests need experience with escape rooms?
No, your guests don’t need any prior knowledge. The Game Master explains all the rules before you start and helps with hints during the 60 minutes if you get stuck. Please also plan for an extra 15 minutes before the game starts for check-in.
Are drinks available at the birthday party?
Non-alcoholic drinks are available directly from us. We don’t serve alcohol, and for safety reasons, anyone who is intoxicated may not take part in the game. It’s best to save the toast for the birthday child for a restaurant in Kiel’s city center.
Can we play the birthday party in English?
Yes, all escape rooms and briefings in Kiel are available in German and English. This means guests who don’t speak German can fully join in the birthday party too.
Are the escape rooms accessible to all birthday guests?
Unfortunately, our rooms in Kiel are not wheelchair accessible, and some require climbing. If guests with physical limitations will be joining, please let us know before booking. We’ll then recommend a suitable room for you.
Can we give an escape room birthday party as a gift?
Yes, with a Final Escape voucher, you give the gift of a shared adventure that the birthday child can redeem with friends or family. You buy it online in our voucher shop, and the birthday child chooses the date later themselves.
