Where can we celebrate our birthday at an escape room in Lübeck?
Your birthday party takes place at Final Escape in Schüsselbuden 30, 23552 Lübeck, right on the old town island near St. Mary’s Church. From the main train station, you can reach us via the Holstentor in about 15 minutes on foot. In the old town and along the Obertrave, there are many cafés and restaurants where you can continue celebrating before or after the game.
How many guests can come to the birthday party?
In most rooms, up to six guests play together, and up to eight in the Magic Academy. Online, you can book up to three rooms at the same time and celebrate with around 18 people. For larger groups, send us a request, and we’ll get back to you with a suggestion for the schedule.
From what age is a birthday party at Final Escape suitable?
We recommend our escape rooms in Lübeck for ages 10 and up, accompanied by parents. The Magic Academy and The Adventures of the Halfling are well suited for younger guests, while Bloody Awakening, with its spooky moments, is more for the brave. If you’re planning a children’s birthday party, we’re happy to advise you beforehand.
Can we hide a birthday present in the escape room?
A small surprise for the birthday child can be arranged by prior agreement. Just get in touch with the Lübeck team before booking and tell us your idea. We’ll then check whether it fits into the chosen room.
Which escape room is suitable for a birthday party?
Eight adventures are available in Lübeck, from The Secret of the Monks to Robot Paranoia to Prison Break. A special birthday experience is the Magic Academy, with two parts of 90 minutes each for 4 to 8 people. Keep an eye on group size, as Bloody Awakening can be played from three people upward. When booking multiple rooms, each group of guests experiences their own story.
Do guests need experience with escape rooms?
No, no prior knowledge is needed. The Game Master explains everything important before the start and helps with hints during the game if you get stuck. Also plan an extra 15 minutes before the game starts for check-in.
Are drinks available at the birthday party?
Non-alcoholic drinks are available on site. We don’t offer alcohol, and anyone who is intoxicated may not take part in the game for safety reasons. It’s best to toast the birthday child afterward at a restaurant in Lübeck’s old town.
Can we play the birthday party in English?
Yes, all escape rooms and introductions in Lübeck are available in German and English. This way, international friends and relatives can join the celebration without a language barrier.
Are the escape rooms accessible to all birthday guests?
Unfortunately, our rooms in Lübeck are not wheelchair accessible, and some climbing or crawling may be required. If guests with physical limitations are joining, please let us know before booking. We’ll then recommend a suitable room.
