Where does the school trip in Lübeck take place, and how do we get there?
The school trip takes place at Final Escape at Schüsselbuden 30, 23552 Lübeck, right in the middle of the old town island near Marienkirche. From the main train station, you can reach us via the Holstentor in about 15 minutes on foot, and several bus lines stop nearby. For class trips to Lübeck, the escape room pairs perfectly with the Holstentor or the European Hansemuseum.
From what age is a school trip to the escape room suitable?
We recommend the school trip to Final Escape from age 10, roughly from 5th grade onward. Up to age 12, an adult must accompany the group into the room. When planning, we’ll help you find rooms suited to the age group and class.
How many students can take part in the school trip?
Up to 42 students can play at the same time across our eight escape rooms, usually in teams of up to six, or up to eight in the Magic Academy. Across two rounds, up to 84 students are possible. This also allows several classes to come together.
What does a school trip at Final Escape Lübeck cost?
A school trip costs 19 € per student and teacher. The price is well below the regular ticket price and fits easily into a class fund budget.
When can school classes book a school trip?
We offer school trips Monday to Friday until 1 PM. This makes the trip easy to fit into a school morning, a walking day, or a project day.
How long does the school trip last?
With check-in 15 minutes before the game starts, a briefing, 60 minutes of gameplay, and a joint wrap-up, plan on about 90 minutes in total. Across two rounds, the school trip takes roughly 150 minutes. The two parts of the Magic Academy each last 90 minutes, which we factor into the schedule.
Who supervises the students during the school trip?
Supervisory responsibility remains with the accompanying teachers throughout the visit. Our Game Masters monitor every team via video and provide hints as needed. Teachers can join in the game or look after waiting groups in our lounge.
What do students learn on a school trip to the escape room?
In the escape room, no one solves the puzzles alone. Students share observations, think around corners together, and make decisions as a team while the clock ticks. This builds communication, perseverance, and class spirit, and students often discover surprising talents along the way.
Can the school trip take place in English?
Yes, all briefings and escape rooms in Lübeck are also available in English. This works well for international classes, bilingual schools, or as a playful English lesson. Just let us know your preferred language when making your inquiry.
Is the school trip accessible for all students?
