Where does our Christmas party take place in the escape room in Lübeck?
Your Christmas party takes place at Final Escape at Schüsselbuden 30, 23552 Lübeck. The location is right in the middle of the old town island, just a few steps from Marienkirche and the town hall. After the game, you’re right in the heart of the festive old town and can round off the evening at one of the restaurants on the Obertrave.
When should we book our Christmas party?
It’s best to plan your Christmas party as early as autumn. During Advent, Lübeck is a popular destination, and slots on Thursdays, Fridays, and in the evening are especially in demand. By booking early, you’ll have the widest choice and can invite all your colleagues in good time.
How many people can take part in the Christmas party?
Your Christmas party at the escape room works for 2 to 84 people. Up to 42 people can play at the same time across eight rooms, usually in teams of up to six, or up to eight in the Magic Academy. For larger workforces, we schedule two rounds, and whoever isn’t playing waits in our lounge.
How can the Christmas party at the escape room fit into the evening?
With a welcome, 60 minutes of playing time, and a debrief afterward, the experience takes around 90 minutes, or about 150 minutes for two rounds. Those playing the Magic Academy spend 90 minutes in the room. Many teams therefore start with us in the late afternoon and head straight to Lübeck’s Christmas market around the town hall afterward, just a few steps away.
Which escape rooms suit our Christmas party?
Eight adventures are available in Lübeck: visit the Magic Academy in two connected parts, accompany a halfling on his journey, uncover the secret of the monks, outwit a robotic AI, break out of a prison, explore a secret bunker, or wake up in an abandoned clinic. Each team plays its own scenario, which makes for plenty of conversation over dinner afterward.
Can we also play the Christmas party in English?
Yes, all rooms and briefings are available in German and English. This means international colleagues can also join your Christmas party without a language barrier. Just let us know in your request which teams would like which language.
Is there mulled wine or food at the Christmas party?
We only offer non-alcoholic drinks, available on request as a pre-booked drinks package for everyone. We don’t serve mulled wine or other alcoholic drinks, and no one under the influence of alcohol is allowed into an escape room. Our tip: schedule the game at the start of your party and enjoy mulled wine and marzipan afterward at the Christmas market by the town hall.
Is the location for the Christmas party wheelchair accessible?
No, our escape rooms in Lübeck are not wheelchair accessible, and some rooms require climbing or crawling. If any colleagues have physical limitations, please let us know in advance. We’ll put together a suitable room selection for your Christmas party.
Will colleagues without any escape room experience also enjoy the Christmas party?
Absolutely, no prior experience is needed. Before the game, there’s an easy-to-follow introduction, and the Game Master accompanies each team by video and helps out with tips if you get stuck. A great starting point is, for example, The Adventures of the Halfling.
Will we receive an invoice for the Christmas party?
Yes, before your Christmas party you’ll receive a proforma invoice for payment, and the final invoice follows after the event. It’s best to send us your invoice details directly with your request, so everything can be settled before the end of the year.
