§ 1 Scope and Briefing
- These safety regulations apply to all participants in the escape rooms operated by Final Escape. By confirming, participants bindingly accept the following regulations.
- Before the game begins, our staff will conduct a safety and game briefing. Participation in this briefing is mandatory for all participants. Anyone who does not attend the briefing may not take part in the game.
- The instructions given by our staff must be followed at all times during the visit.
§ 2 Age Requirements and Accompanying Persons
- The minimum age for participation is 14 years.
- Children aged 10 and older may only participate when accompanied by at least one adult who remains in the room for the entire game and assumes supervisory duty.
- Whether a child is suitable for a particular scenario is decided jointly by the accompanying adult and Final Escape staff. Staff reserve the right to refuse participation on a case-by-case basis.
§ 3 Game Duration, Emergency Stop, and Early Termination
- Depending on the scenario, the game lasts a maximum of 60 or 90 minutes. An extension is not possible.
- Participants may voluntarily end the game at any time by pressing the emergency stop button. In this case, there is no entitlement to a refund of the participation fee.
- If the game and safety rules explained during the briefing are not followed, Final Escape is entitled to end the game. In this case, the participation fee will not be refunded.
§ 4 Handling of Game Props and Personal Items
- All furnishings and game props must be handled properly and with care. No force is required to solve any puzzle.
- Final Escape may hold the responsible person liable for any property damage caused by improper use.
- Personal items brought along may not be used during the game. Exceptions are items required for a participant’s health or wellbeing (e.g. medication, asthma inhaler).
§ 5 Health Notices
- Participation is not recommended for individuals suffering from claustrophobia, epilepsy, severe asthma, or a contagious illness.
- The same applies to individuals who are concerned that their health condition could worsen as a result of participating.
- Participation is at your own risk. Any health conditions that may be relevant to safety during the game should be reported to staff before the game begins.
§ 6 Photography, Film, and Audio Recordings
Our game rooms are protected as works within the meaning of Section 2 of the German Copyright Act (UrhG). Taking photographs as well as making film, video, or audio recordings inside the game rooms is therefore prohibited.
§ 7 Conduct Towards Staff
- Our staff must be treated with respect at all times.
- Physical or verbal abuse, particularly of a sexual or suggestive nature, is strictly prohibited.
- Violations will result in immediate exclusion from the game and may lead to removal from the premises. In this case, the participation fee will not be refunded.
§ 8 Liability
- Final Escape is not liable for accidents or damage to property or persons occurring during participation, unless these result from an intentional or grossly negligent breach of duty by Final Escape, its legal representatives, or vicarious agents.
- The above exclusion of liability does not apply to damages resulting from injury to life, body, or health. In such cases, Final Escape is liable in accordance with statutory provisions.
- No liability is assumed for personal items, clothing, or valuables brought along, to the extent permitted by law.
§ 9 Declaration of Consent
By confirming, I declare that I have read, understood, and accept the above safety regulations. As the accompanying adult, I also confirm that I assume supervisory duty for any minors accompanying me.
