Where does our escape room Christmas party in Erfurt take place?
Your Christmas party takes place at Final Escape in Forum 1 at Hirschlachufer 7, 99084 Erfurt. The location is right in the heart of the old town between Krämerbrücke and Anger, about a ten-minute walk from the main station. After the game, you’re just a few minutes away from the restaurants around Fischmarkt and Domplatz to end the Christmas party together.
When should we book our Christmas party?
It’s best to inquire about your Christmas party as early as autumn. The Advent season is very busy in Erfurt, and slots on Thursdays, Fridays, and in the evenings are particularly popular. By inquiring early, you secure your preferred date and can invite everyone in good time.
How many people can take part in the Christmas party?
Your escape room Christmas party is possible for 2 to 84 people. Up to 42 people can play simultaneously in seven rooms, in teams of up to six people each. For larger workforces, we plan two rounds, and the waiting group spends the time in our lounge.
How can the escape room Christmas party be integrated into the evening?
The escape room experience lasts about 90 minutes including the welcome, 60 minutes of playtime, and a debriefing; for two rounds, it takes about 150 minutes. Many teams therefore start their Christmas party with us in the early evening and then stroll to the Erfurt Christmas market on Domplatz, which is only a few minutes’ walk away.
Which escape rooms are suitable for our Christmas party?
In Erfurt, there are seven adventures to choose from: sneak into the Palace of the Magic Lamp, solve a case with Sherlock Holmes, crack a safe in the Bank Job, search for a magic wand in the Wizarding School, explore a secret bunker, escape from the Puppeteer, or wake up in an abandoned clinic. Each team plays its own scenario, and you can compare your experiences over dinner afterwards.
Can we play the Christmas party in English?
Yes, all rooms and briefings are available in German and English. This means international colleagues can naturally take part in your Christmas party. Just let us know which teams prefer which language when you make your inquiry.
Is there mulled wine or food at the Christmas party?
We only offer non-alcoholic drinks, available upon request as a pre-booked flat-rate drink package for all participants. We do not serve mulled wine or other alcoholic beverages, and no one is allowed in an escape room while intoxicated. Our tip: Plan the game for the start of your celebration and enjoy mulled wine and Thuringian specialties on Domplatz afterwards.
Is the location for the Christmas party accessible?
No, our escape rooms in Erfurt are not accessible, and some rooms require climbing or crawling. If any colleagues have physical limitations, please let us know in advance. We will then select the rooms for your Christmas party accordingly.
Is the Christmas party fun for colleagues without escape room experience?
Absolutely, as no prior knowledge is necessary. There is a clear introduction before the game, and the Game Master accompanies each team via video and helps with clues if you get stuck. The Wizarding School, for example, is particularly suitable for beginners.
Will we receive an invoice for the Christmas party?
Yes, before your Christmas party you will receive a pro-forma invoice for payment, followed by the final invoice after the event. It’s best to provide your billing details directly with the inquiry so that everything is settled before the end of the year.
