Still Have Questions?
Where does the school trip in Erfurt take place and how do we get there?
The school trip takes place at Final Escape in Forum 1 at Hirschlachufer 7, 99084 Erfurt, right in the old town between Krämerbrücke and Anger. From the main train station, you can reach us in about ten minutes on foot, and numerous tram lines stop right at Anger. For class trips to Erfurt, the escape room can be ideally combined with the Cathedral, Krämerbrücke, or Petersberg.
From what age is a school trip to the escape room suitable?
We recommend the school trip to Final Escape from age 10, so roughly from 5th grade. Up to age 12, adult supervision in the room is required. Together with you, we’ll choose rooms that suit the age group and the class.
How many students can take part in the school trip?
Up to 42 students play simultaneously in our seven escape rooms, divided into teams of up to six people. Across two rounds, up to 84 students are possible. This way, even an entire year group can experience the trip together.
How much does a school trip at Final Escape Erfurt cost?
A school trip costs €19 per student and teacher. That’s significantly cheaper than the regular ticket price and can easily be financed from the class fund.
When can school classes book a school trip?
School trips are available with us Monday to Friday until 1 PM. This makes the visit a great fit for a school morning, a hiking day, or a project day.
How long does the school trip last?
With check-in 15 minutes before the game starts, a briefing, 60 minutes of playtime, and a joint wrap-up, you should plan for around 90 minutes. Across two rounds, the school trip takes about 150 minutes. We’ll coordinate the exact schedule with you in advance.
Who supervises the students during the school trip?
Supervisory responsibility remains with the accompanying teachers throughout the entire visit. In the escape room, our Game Masters monitor each team via video and help with hints. Teachers can join in the game or look after waiting groups in our lounge.
What do students learn on a school trip to the escape room?
In the escape room, every idea counts. Students have to communicate, solve puzzles logically, divide tasks fairly, and work together against the clock. In the process, communication, personal responsibility, and team spirit grow, and some students reveal entirely new strengths.
Can the school trip take place in English?
Yes, all briefings and escape rooms in Erfurt are also available in English. This is ideal for international classes, bilingual schools, or as a playful English lesson outside the classroom. Just let us know your preferred language when you make your request.
Is the school trip accessible for all students?
Our escape rooms in Erfurt are not wheelchair accessible, and some rooms require climbing or crawling. If students with physical limitations are taking part, please let us know in advance. We’ll then assign rooms so that everyone can join in.
How do we request a school trip for our class?
Send us a no-obligation inquiry using the form on this page, and let us know your preferred date and the number of students. We’ll get back to you with an offer. Alternatively, you can reach us by email at event@final-escape.de or by phone at 030 200033050 (Mon–Fri, 9 AM–6 PM).
